When Hell Was Changed Forever

Post Summary:
The New Testament maintains a distinction between Sheol, the place of the dead and the eternal destiny of those condemned at the Final Judgment which is called Gehenna or the Lake of Eternal Fire. Nevertheless, many people consider Hell to be the Lake of Eternal Fire and do not understand the actual geography of Hell which includes Sheol (Hades).  One reason for this is that the old King James Version uses the English word “Hell” for both Sheol and Gehenna making no distinction between the two. This has led many to believe hell is only Gehenna, and to disregard Sheol or the “abode of the dead”.  But what happen to hell when Christ was raised from the dead? How was hell changed forever? To find out read my book:.
