During the time that I was actively involved in the occult as a medium, I ran across a number of spirits who claimed to be children. They spoke like children, thought like children, and even acted like children by playing childish pranks such as turning the chairs in the séance room upside down. However, the idea that a child could become a tormented ghost has deep theological implications concerning the nature of the afterlife and even the nature of God.
