Skeptics - Healthy and Unhealthy

Introduction

I would very much like to add to this blog, a list of sites written by those skeptical of the paranormal. I am doing this because I believe that we must stay open to alternative explanations of the paranormal and measure those alternatives by the weight of our own experiences and gathered evidence. After all, there are all kinds of conclusions and opinions in the world, not just our own. I started my research in this area as a skeptic, though my own hypersensitivity made it a challenge and I did not remain overly skeptical for too long. If you read this blog, you will understand some of the ways I tested my observations and conclusions, not just taking them at face value. Skepticism has a role to play in both personal experience and scientific inquiry, Any serious Ghost Hunting team or Deliverance Ministry must be at heart, skeptical. So what is a healthy attitude of skepticism? What is unhealthy skepticism? You can find out in my book:

A detailed and expanded version of this post can be found in Pastor Jochem’s book “The Spirit Universe: A Christian View” that is available in the Amazon Bookstore. His book is an invaluable resource to have on hand if you are interested in general information needed for investigating the paranormal, deliverance ministry, or counseling those hypersensitive to the spirit universe or those who are dealing with the occult and negative spirits. The book contains reorganized content from the blog, expanded information, and new content which will not be published in this blog. The book can be read on the Kindle or any device which can run the Kindle application including any Android phone, IPhone, IPad, and the home computer. It is also available in Word and PDF format.
